The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded funds to several Florida nonprofits to establish Health Information Technology Regional Extension Centers. Community Health Centers Alliance in St. Petersburg will receive $10.9 million, Univeristy of Central Florida will receive $7.6 millio,, and University of South Florida was awarded $5.8 million.
